Ladies Invitation Day
Our annual Ladies’ Invitation Day was held on Thursday 17 August with 48 ladies taking part in a 4BBB format. The weather was kind with the sun shining and the course looked fantastic thanks to Darren’s team of Greenkeepers. Prizes were awarded for nearest the pin on all of the Par 3s, closest to the rope on the 10th as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Golf was followed by a delicious meal of salmon, chicken, quiche, and salads, and then lemon tart or strawberry and prosecco cheesecake and coffee and mints. Our visitors all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and our thanks go to Pip Stockton and Di Woodward who organised the event.
