Spring Open Results

The best of the home teams (Nigel Thorne/Hilary Thorne/John Phillmore/Jenny Phillmore) came 5th with a net 57 (losing on the back 9 countback). Former winners from Remedy Oak (Ian Broom/Dan Spencer/Harry Wilkes/Mike Davis) came 4th with a better back 9. Southampton came 3rd (Kevin Farminer/Christopher Comley/Graham Thistle/Richard Gardner) on a last 6 countback, and Bob's Dream Team came 2nd with the best of the 57s. Winning the day with a fine net 56 were Ryde 2 (Vincent Beath/David Brown/Calum McInnes/Lee Dixon) - one of two teams that made it over from Ryde on the island.
